I have
I have a heart full of roses for you
But,
Only a soul of thorns is left
Something to hard too get to
To escape from
To heal the piercing wounds left behind
But, I still love you

Take my soul
Tear those thorns out
Despite the pain it causes
Clear me of my despair
Save me
Please rescue me
See me for what I am
Who I am
Not the thorns
Or the marks...
Wounds heal
Scars stay
...
Don't make another scar
In my soul full of thorns
